That move is difficult to perfect. Reaction time is everything.
Best recruiting tool ever
While I sometimes take artistic license in illustrations, this data is real/fact-checked. Before Cael won his first national title, there were rarely more than 4 children named "Cael" a year in the US, with a peak of 8 in 1989. The year Cael won his fourth national title/finished undefeated, 222 newborns were named "Cael." Then the name stayed in the top 1000 names in the US for a decade. Now on average about 55 boys are named Cael a year. At some point maybe Ill look by State to see if any trends there.
Carter is after Willie's paycheck.
Does the data include the many many to spell Cael? It would be interesting if all the versions also went up at about the same time. Things like Cale, Kale, Callie, etc. While I sometimes take artistic license in illustrations, this data is real/fact-checked. @ATron74kg I was looking for you last weekend--I was seated at the press table that I think was right in front of your seat, but I couldn't figure out who you were. Big fan though--hope you had a great time at Trials! While I sometimes take artistic license in illustrations, this data is real/fact-checked. And the Carl(s) in Iowa.Does the data include the many many to spell Cael? It would be interesting if all the versions also went up at about the same time. Things like Cale, Kale, Callie, etc.
Imagine being so far up in someone's head that they refuse to even spell your name correctly or even SAY your name. Holy hell. Jokes aside, in 15 years, we have systematically, and totally, destroyed their entire world. And the Carl(s) in Iowa.

It's beautiful.
This is a staged pic from a wedding some years ago.
Hopefully he doesn't post the next pics where the cop strips while Willie is handcuffed to a chair. This is a staged pic from a wedding some years ago.
Yeah, Carl is by far the most popular. The name Cael is popular in Iowa also but it appears they just keep insisting to misspell the name.
Congrats, Cenzo, on a great career!First Marky. Now Cenzo.
Another PSU wrestler with a phenomenal career in the books!
Thanks for posting this! The facility definitely looks better than that first photo I saw a few weeks back, but still feels a bit dark and heavy, fits the Iowa brand of toughness, but I don't care for the feel of it. I don't like the exposed concrete, but the openness of the room and high ceiling is nice. I know the tunnel gets made fun of, but I like they connected the facility to CHA. Will be impressive to walk thru that confined space and emerge into the arena. All in all, an impressive facility and is good for building wrestling in general, just too dark and industrial (and brutalist) for my tastes. Also, credit to Coach Brands and the Iowa leadership for not allowing the facility to be built outside of town. My impression from the interview was that one option was to build the training facility and a smaller arena there.
You need a bar for that question for which the answer is a yes/no response. I say no, but I hope he does and Carter takes him apart. What's the over under on AJ Ferrari actually being allowed to compete?
I saw this posted elsewhere but only the picture and the whole instagram post, which is priceless. When I saw it earlierI thought it was fake, but not AJ is posting the same picture so fake or not it will become real. Exactly the type of recruiting advertisement we look forward to without paying a dime.
