There are so many cross-currents and wild cards in play. The uncertainties and variables are increasing by the month.

Dem-Media actually looks prepared to give its nomination to an unpopular half-senile geriatric case who's presided over a disastrous presidency, which may well get more disastrous over the next year.

The GOP nomination looks to be Trump's to lose, but he's a lightning rod who's got the Powers laying for him and is likely facing a federal indictment...in addition to his other legal troubles. Dem-Media's strategy is to lure Republicans into the trap and then spring it.

Meanwhile, there's Joe Manchin hinting openly that he may either challenge Senile Joe or mount a 3rd-Party run. If the latter, Tulsi Gabbard would be the ideal running mate, and that pair would be a force to contend with.

Then there's RFK Jr, a charismatic populist with a lot of appeal who's speaking some hard truths about the Dem-Media Party and polling 20% support in his announced bid for the Dem-Media nomination. 20% is a pretty damn significant number against an incumbent President of your own Party. It underscores Senile Joe's weakness and unpopularity.

Now comes Cornel West into the fray, a progressive black scholar who looks to inherit the Bernie Sanders mantle. West is far from your typical left-wing nutjob. He's a serious, intelligent person who could do some serious damage to Senile Joe by cutting heavily into his base of black support.

You put all these factors together, and gosh knows what things will look like a year from now. If it were just Senile Joe against a damaged Trump, then I think Dem-Media has the wherewithal, through legal means or otherwise, to wheel its ridiculous and debilitated candidate across the finish line.

However, when you throw all these other cards into the deck, who knows. Personally, I'd love to see three or even four presidential candidates on the ballot next November.
