The title line is paraphrased from the words of Captain Samuel Parker to his colonial militia as British troops approached their position at Lexington on April 19, 1775: >>Stand your ground...if it's a war they want, then let it begin here.<<

Governor Abbot's declaration of defiance of the criminal open-borders policy of Senile Joe's lawless administration seems in the spirit of Captain Parker. It's a mindboggling story with Texas resolving to do what the senile puppet in the White House will not: secure the border of our nation against invasion by a horde of millions of illegal "immigrants."

As "civil war" trends on Twitter, Republican governors right and left are issuing ringing statements of support for Abbot. Regime media, however, is giving it the trademark Silent Treatment. The crisis merits no mention in Google headline news: nothing to see here...Senile Joe's in charge...all is well...pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

It would be nice if Trump, who has the nomination locked up and is the de facto leader of the Republican Party, could take a break from pointless attacks on "Birdbrain" "Nimrada" Nikki to make a statement about the historic constitutional crisis brewing in Texas.
