I've been reaching out to a few people this morning. I'll continue to do that in the coming hours.
- ICYMI: DT Wisdom Asaboro didn't make it to State College, at least, as of Saturday morning. I know Penn State would still like him to visit, so we'll keep an eye on that situation. I'll reach out to his coach early in the week.
- We shouldn't have to wait too long today to know what OL Doug Nester decides to do. I was told this morning that he's supposed to meet with James Franklin in about an hour from now, so sometime between 10:30 - 11 AM. That's usually the last thing these guys do before heading out of town.
- I was also told this morning that it's unlikely that Ath. Daequan Hardy receives an offer today. There is still a chance that he gets an offer, but Franklin has some concerns about his size. He'll probably be someone that the staff makes a late decision on, similar to Corey Bolds two years ago.

- I was told by one contact this morning WR TJ Jones has already met with Franklin. It sounds like he's going to hold off and wait until Signing Day to make a decision.

Penn State hosted Lackawanna specialist Bradley King this weekend. I’ll have to reach out to the Lack coaches this week. He’s supposed to be done at Lack in May, so he’ll enroll at the school of his choice this summer.

I've spoken with a few more people close to Penn State in regards to WR TJ Jones. They still seem to feel pretty good about their chances with him. He said to me earlier today that he always planned to wait until Signing Day. I asked him that earlier this week and he said something different, haha, but that's besides the point. From what I'm hearing though, the staff is still in a good position there. I expect the entire offensive staff to do a visit at some point this week. I don't believe Franklin has visited Jones yet, so he should join them, too. Still trying to lockdown which day.
As for the two DTs, it's been hard to get much info so far. I know Joseph Darkwa is flying back to Germany now, so that's probably going to have to wait until tomorrow. I spoke with his trainer briefly and he mentioned that Joseph was really impressed with the stadium and the facilities, things like that. I really want to get to know what his mom and dad thought of the place. That's going to end up being really important with him.
I know you all want to know more on Jaquaze Sorrells but I'm struggling to get much info there. He doesn't talk at all and the people I speak haven't mentioned him much. I'll continue to chip away at Sorrells.
Also, just to confirm: OL Dawand Jones is still on campus until tomorrow. That was always the plan, but I'm just confirming that he's still here. He had a basketball game Friday and Saturday night, so he wasn't able to start the visit until today.
