Nothing is set in stone just yet, but hearing there's a legit chance at Shorter University transfer offensive tackle Alan Herron might flip to Maryland. He took an official visit to check out the Terps this past weekend.
Now this isn't all bad as it opens up a ship for Penn State to look elsewhere for an offensive tackle in the portal, there was some talk that weren't so confident in his ability to be able to compete at the Big Ten level. It's a big jump to go from DII to the Big Ten and it sounds like he was a guy the staff was happy to bring in to compete for one of the tackle spots, but with two years of eligibility remaining, there's a possibility he could've sat or been a backup for a year as they got him up to speed.
Regardless it sounds like he will be a Terp right now, but things could change.
