So my capacitor is bad. Part is under manufacture warranty, labor warranty ran out with the company that installed it. I can get a capacitor for 30 bucks. Company has one…. That’s technically MY capacitor that they are holding, right? So if I wanted to just grab it and replace it myself they get paid for the part from the manufacturer because the manufacturer is the one holding my parts warranty…… or am I wrong.

That is capacitor is theirs as they bought it as stock. They have no obligation to sell it to you. You could buy one from various sources like local wholesalers, Ebay, online sources…..

And if you buy one and install it yourself any other warranty/guarantee left would likely be null and void.
