I’d be surprised if he ends up with us…doesn’t seem like a natural fit to play alongside Ace Baldwin, but also assume he’s looking for starter minutes. Certainly would take him though if we could land him.

Really? A shooter would be a great running mate for a distributor like AB?

They are both pure point guards that have spent the recent seasons with the ball in their hands…taking him off the ball would take away some of his biggest strengths. He did play the two in his limited role at Houston Baptist his freshman year, but wasn’t nearly as effective as he was running the show at Niagara.

As I said though, I’d definitely take him…but I’d think he’d be looking for a a destination where he’s “driving the bus” in the offense (felt the same with Sessoms, but we landed him anyways).
