This is good news. May not knock our socks off the way that Ace does, but coach is building his team. Apparently Kern can shoot and has decent size at 6'6". Nice to see the GOOD news from the transfer portal roll in, after just hearing about PSU players going to the portal for a while.
He’s got a ton of athleticism and his game has been more around attacking the rim/slashing. His shot will likely be a work in progress.
He apparently improved his shot percentage quite a bit from year 1 to year 2
Keep'em coming! Good start to building the roster but much work left to do as well.
He really improved it by improving his shot selection and getting better at finishing around the rim. He's 2 for 15 in his career behind the arc.
I think that coach added him gir his defense skills. Great defensers are more valuable than average scorers.
Yeah you could tell even in the video posted he's hesitant to shoot any jumpers. Hopefully he's working on that but definitely a slasher that seems to have good court vision.
