This is REALLY great..so basically I don't have to pay BIG 10+ anymore. Looks like they don't get the regular BIg matches (I may be wrong). So if it's on regular BIG 10 network they don't cover it, but anything Bid10+ they do?

Didn't see the tOSU match..assuming that's because it's on regular BIG 10?

Flo is really doing some good stuff!!

A few questions about Flo for any of you that have it. Do they have an interface where you can split into four quadrants and have a different mat on each quadrant? I really liked that feature on BTNs website. Also, I liked how BTN didn't force you to watch live. You could rewind the sessions to the beginning like a DVR while it was still going on. So you weren't forced to start ontime, you could sync up the 4 mats and then watch as if it was live. Can you do this stuff with Flo?

I realize that where I say BTN, it may actually be TrackWrestling that was providing those features since they provided the feed.

Does anyone watch Flo on an Apple TV? Any opinions on that?

I have had both Flo+ and BTN+ for a few years now. I don't know the answer to your questions about the quadrants as I've never tried it.

As far as apple TV..Flo has been flawless for me on it. Even when they had the debacle with the PSU/OkSt match..mine was fine watching thru the Flo App on the apple TV. If you do have apple TV..you need the latest one to be able to get the Flo app. I would mirror my phone for the BTN+ matches..sometimes that was spotty and now I don't have to do that or pay for 2 subscriptions..LOVE IT!

Flo will provide you with a split screen option, however, it's not the one you assume. Once you try streaming a match with Flo, and it won't load or just buffers and your left with nothing for your money, you will want to split your screen with either your fist or the nearest object you have next to you to throw at your screen.

I also was mirroring my phone for the duals on BTN+. For the B1G tourney though, I used my PC, that seemed to have a better interface for splitting it into quadrants. I actually do have the newer apple tv and have the flo app, I got flo just for the PSU/OSU dual and I wasn't able to connect. I'll give them another chance here though. Their content is tremendous, it's their infrastructure that worries me.

Are you streaming on your computer or thru the app on Apple TV? I've never streamed matches on my computer..and I've never had an issue with the Flo App (knock on wood)

I guess this is a good thing since that'll be one fewer entity to pay, at least until Flo jacks its yearly price up to justify the additional content they're now providing. Also curious about whether Flo will archive these duals like the BTN+ network does; if not, I'll probably wind up keeping both subscriptions since I watched duals on archive as often as I did live.

So here are the duals not covered by this deal.

Nov 17 -- at Binghamton -- 7 p.m.
Dec 3 -- at Lehigh -- 2 p.m.

I recall Lehigh having its own stream for home matches, can't remember how Binghamton handled it.

Jan 12 -- at Michigan* -- 9 p.m.
Jan 26 -- MINNESOTA* -- 7 p.m.
Jan 28 -- at Rutgers* -- 2 p.m.
Feb 3 -- OHIO STATE* -- 6 or 8 p.m.
Feb 10 -- IOWA* (BJC) -- 6 or 8 p.m.

I imagine that these B1G duals are going to be on B1G basic, but their TV schedule isn't yet out.

I subscribe to B10+, but not to Flo. One of the guys I watch some matches with has the subscription. He can/ does use his tv as monitor, so it was through his computer. The couple times I was there and he was trying to stream through Flo left us both very aggravated .

I'm not a tech person by any means, but maybe the app on the Apple TV just handles things better than the computer streaming?

I don't know what Flo Pro costs as compared to B10+, but if I would start to hear of better stability issues with their streams, I would probably sign up.

I believe I pay $120 yearly (I may be off as it just automatically renews). Then I was paying $15 monthly from Nov-March for the BTN+..So $75 saving there for me. I think FLO is definetly worth it as I like watching a lot of wrestling including off season stuff..IMO..If someone LOVES wrestling and watches year round and price isn't an issue..FLO+ is a must have..for you it's now only about $50 more than you are paying for BTN+ and you get everything

This would be great! 5 matches televised on BTN. Are you assuming this based off the list that FLO is NOT streaming?

Yeah, that's my assumption. It seems unlikely that we won't get to see those matches and BTN basic would be the natural home for those.

Be careful what you wish for. This could be one critical step toward a single company having everyone by the balls in several years.

And the feed still might not work.

BTW, just noticed that (finally) a downloadable wrestling calendar is being provided.

http://www.gopsusports.com/ot/sched-download.html

If you use Google Calendar like I do, there's no option (and Google+ is being deprecated, so not sure what the purpose of offering that was) but there is a workaround. After selecting WRESTLING, you need to select the "OTHER" option, which will cause you to download a file calledl "m-wrestl.ics."

Now go into Google Calendar. SETTINGS > CALENDARS tab > IMPORT CALENDAR (and choose which of your calendars you want it to appear in; Google lets you view multiple calendars, and I created a "PSU Wrestling" calendar specifically for this) > CHOOSE FILE (and select the already downloaded m-wrestl-ics file.)

W/ the BTN+ "team pass" or whatever it was called, I could get 3 months of PSU matches for $27, then easily cancel until next year. Anything similar in the pipeline for this product?

I am excited to get pro-level commentary play-by-play instead of the Nebraska PA announcer, but $27 a season is hard to beat....

Question, I do not get the Big Ten on my cable but I do subscribe to Flo Pro does this mean I will get these matches?

I believe it means yes--you'll get the matches that are not broadcasted on BTN cablecast.

No. The only way to get those BTN TV matches is to subscribe to them through cable. BTN+ (internet subscription) matches are the ones Flo is now getting.

This will save poor ol' CropDuster some cash, and I know that's Flo's main purpose (to make my life easier), so job well done and thanks, Flo.

I was fine with the cheap productions on BTN2Go... mute the sound and put on the PSU broadcast. I pay for the BTN2Go to get all to the PSU sports, and now need a second payment for just wrestling? That doesn't seem like a step forward to me... Am I understanding it wrong...

I was getting ready to start my BTN+ subscription for the season but will do Flo Pro instead.

Flo is saying they will carry BTN+ meets. Does this mean the BTN feed with Student U announcers?

My understanding based on Flo's language is that Flo is merely simulcasting BTN+ productions, not taking over the productions of those matches, so nothing at all changes if you elect to subscribe to BTN2Go. But for many wrestling fans who already subscribe to Flo, there is no longer a need to subscribe to BTN2Go if the only purpose of your subscription was to get the wrestling duals because Flo is now carrying them. If Flo was going to take over production of those matches they'd have said so in the story.

Looks like the situation is fluid.

Thanks! I am a sports junky, so if PSU was playing a beer pong, I would watch it...

Flo will also have the BTN+ games from other sports on our respective platforms. (Soccer right now is on FloLive). Ex. PSU Volleyball games on BTN+ will be on flovolleyball.

so if you have a yearly membership to flo, you'll get that too

I still have to laugh about last season. The secret trick to get FLO to work on your 4k TV was ? Set the resolution to 240X120. And all the problems are on my end. Hoping it works better this year.
Are they prepared for more customers logging in ? Hope so.

Flo's annual subscription opens the door to a lot of wrestling content. Well worth the $150.00, imo.

If PSU would have a beer pong team, I would've received a full ride scholarship. All the HR posters would've wondered how PSU could afforded me.;)
One of them would've called IFC to ensure you weren't paid more than the fraternity clinic limit.

The price is fine, the problem is when you invite all you friends over to watch and it does not work ? They have been doing this a long time. Please tell me 2017/18 is going to work. Does anyone remember 2016/17?

hope it is good to go. I would imagine it is going to get more viewers than the btn subscription service.... a lot more.
