Speaking of...I bought a bottle of Uncle Earnest 1884 by mistake a while back thinking it was Bourbon. It wasnt, but damn is it good, puts ole JD to shame.

My son and I both tried Gable’s when we were in Iowa for the dual, neither of us cared for it very much.
Btw, after the meet Gable had a meet and greet at the hotel beside ours, my son attended and got to shake his hand after his short speech. The speech basically was to say don’t jump off any cliffs or abandon the ship. I passed on the opportunity for some sleep since I had a 6 am flight nome the next morning.
Did you enjoy Nome? The flight connections had to horrible starting at 6:00am. Any seasonal Alaskan beers you would recommend?
Well I was not in Nome, but there are not a ton of options to get from Cedar Rapids to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Or, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to anywhere. I am used to 6 am flights….Did you enjoy Nome?
