Do Republicans want to ban contraceptives?

Many conservatives here will likely opine that I am asking a ridiculous question. But bear in mind that a legislator’s voting record is public, and has consequences.

When the “Right to Contraceptives Act” was introduced in the House, one hundred ninety five (195) Republican House members voted against it. In other words, all but a handful of GOP House members.

They are now actively engaged in trying to explain or run from that vote, and run from their opposition to In Vitro Fertilization (“IVF”). JR4PSU and Jerry no doubt support those legislators in their opposition to IVF and contraceptives, But consider their world views, and how small the percentage of the U.S. electorate that shares them in fact is.
