Coaches we dropped a spot as expected but still on 23 votes behind Washington. There's no doubt we're 3 if we win this weekend.

Iowa is 23 which is also good for us.

Maryland still somehow got 11 votes which would be horrible but Miami got 12 lol

Iowa is a surprise, especially after losing McNamara at QB. Fortunately for them the BiG West is worse than usual this year and they don't play OSY or Michigan, Their biggest challenge might be Rutgers but my guess is that they'll lose 1 or 2 more and finish 9-3 or 10-2.

Maryland's loss was horrible. They were undefeated and gave OSU all they could handle for a while. Illinois isn't very good. Now they'll probably finish 8-4.

Who cares… PSU had its destiny in their hands. Polls mean nothing. They have been waiting on this moment since leaving Pasadena. In Manny I trust, not so much in Yurcich.

You're right--in the grand scheme it means nothing. Personally, I think how close we still are to Washington is a great sign for how we're viewed nationally. Doesn't mean anything but it does show respect.

Speak for yourself. Penn State is averaging 35 points in the games they played exclusive of Delaware and U Mass.
