You know quite a bit. How can you not know the answer to this one?
Short answer: On the fateful day in November of 2011, he was there...on the phone.
Ok sure .... we just must have a different definition of "neck deep" or deeply involved then......
IIRC, Corbett was on the phone but did not realize Ridge was involved, too. Confusing "Toms"?
And he is playing that part exactly the last couple of days, imo. He is making his move.
It is as if TR received a hologram message that said: "Help us Obi Wan Tom. You are our only hope."
He will either throw his hat in the ring in the not too distand future or, more likely, push his name for consideration as a drafted nominee at the national convention.
Please, I beg whoever to spare us the "He would be a good choice" response. I say it again: He is one of the bad guys behind our situation. Not a doubt in my mind.

It is probably a safe bet that Joe was going to get fired with or without Tom Ridge on that phone call.
If someone were to create a "Bill Board 200" list of Dr. Evils "neck deep in this mess" I just don't think Tom Ridge makes it.
I will also be honest and say that even if I didn't think that I sure as hell wouldn't be throwing around wild accusations and publicly disparaging Tom Ridge of all people.
I haven't seen or heard anything myself but do you actually have any other credible info besides him being on that call to show Tom Ridge is a "bad guy neck deep in all of this"
I am not a Ridge fan, but I find it hard to believe Ridge was involved in 2011 decisions. The guy was DHS Chief, he has moved on from Pa long time ago.
In fact, he was a frequent flyer at PSU games. He was far from long gone. LOL.
Leather jacket, leather cowboy hat, hair a little longer than we see in his TV stunts, layers of security. Word.
Oh, and, um, buddies with Freeh and others. And, um, his name bandied about publicly at the time to replace Spanier....until he realized how much he had poisoned the well with his scheme, apparently.
But, above all, I KNOW he was there. LOL. SMH.

You may well be right but, from what we see daily, I think maybe you give them too much credit.
