I said I worried about him finishing the tournament but I'm back tracking a bit upon reflecting. I think his injury is different than Mekhi's last year (which was a pec) As long as he can tolerate the pain (which he has shown he 100% can), he can definitely finish. I expect him to bonus his first 2 matches even. He still got the takedown fine against Smith after popping his shoulder back in. He's still basically impossible to take down thanks to his IQ and steel hips and will try to score through merkles and counters and using opponent's aggressiveness against them. Hidlay is going to be tough any way you slice it but he's not super offensive either.

These might be Kemerer's last matches ever ... he's going to finish strong. Only so many words I can say to describe how tough the dude is and how much respect I have for him.

well.......we're waiting

Looks about right, thank you for your dedication to the cause!!!!

What, Rutgers not top 10? :)

Come on Missou!!!

As long as we win it all and do so by more than the Spencer munus Drake point differential, I will be pleased. That should silence some corn feed keyboards.

There were about 15-20 major decisions and only 1 tech fall (Kerk over Metz in the first round). Obviously will be a lot more bonus than that. As I said before, wrestlestat doesn’t produce many bonus outcomes.

As much as I’d like this. No way Iowa only gets 4 pts combined from Ayala, Murin, Young and Assad.

Yep, I'm with you. I try to be pretty unbiased but there's zero chance of that happening. I do think there's a chance that Assad might lay an egg based on his up and down season, but not the other three. Also, I just don't see Alex Marinelli laying an egg in the second round. Despite his NCAA championship troubles in the past, I think it will take Wick or O'Toole to beat him this time around, if he loses at all.

The biggest error in this whole thing is Gable only beating Cass 8-7 haha
Actually, it's Gable beating Parris 8-7. But like you, I don't see that happening. I think Gable can easily get a MD on anyone in the field if he chooses to do so. But like a bored cat, sometimes he just plays with his food.
