The Bill of Rights (1st 10 amendments) are enumerated in the constitution…. and obviously the 2nd amendment is one of those. —The Supreme court’s job is to interpret the law. —What you cite is their interpretation of part of the second amendment. —-There is no enumeration of abortion in the constitution. —The legislature, over the years, could have added an amendment to the constitution re: abortion (but did not). The Supreme Court then could “interpret “ questions/assertions re: that new amendment. But again, Congress did not act. Possibly because they knew this was an individual state issue.

France limits abortion 12 weeks and requires a one week waiting period with 2 physician consultation to be concordant. In Italy you need to request one up to 12 weeks for economic, social or health reasons. Germany forbids it but doesn’t punish in first trimester as long as counseling is received. In the UK, you need 2 physicians to agree that the pregnancy poses significant mental or physical risk to the mother.
