Wow amazing stats of lyme disease ...

As someone with a child with major long term damage from lyme disease this is very sobering. Amazing as we all know how under reported and misdiagnosed lyme disease is at this point. Scary ... This link from the cdc is beyond sobering especially those living in the mid atlantic and new england. Page through the 16 pages of reported cases listed on the image of the US and PA is basically ground zero on this link just staggering. The damage to people and strain on our healthcare system is going to be large.

What is Massachusetts doing? It seems to be working.

My guess is not participating in the study...
That was my initial thought but the number was >0 and they seemed in line in previous years

We were just up in State College for Parents Weekend for my daughter's sorority. They had knitted items wrapped around street lights down town with Lyme awareness cards attached. Thought maybe it was Lyme Disease awareness month, but Google says that is May. It is scary how often it is misdiagnosed. Very sorry to hear about your child bwifan.
