With the med retirements, who might get awarded schollies for this year?

Jan Johnson? (walk-on MLB, possible starter)

Zach Simpson? (walk on OL, back-up center)

Charlie Shuman? (walk on OL, senior, scout team player)

Not sure how many are available. Was Manny Bowen given back his schollie or is he non-scholarship status?

I think they're at 83 after Miner leaving but including Bowen. My guess is Jan Johnson.

We might be at 81 after deducting Nana, Buck, Miner, Franklin, and Zembiec.

Possible walkons earning scholarships include Johnson, Butler, Simpson, Shuman, Vrancic.

I believe that once you are on scholarship you can’t participate as a walk on...

I don't believe Bowen was ever off scholarship.

A player originally on scholarship can participate as a non-scholarship player. Difficulty occurs if he is returned to scholarship status.
