Why do those on the left so vehemently defend abortion?

They have been conditioned by those who would exploit them to believe, "I exist, therefor I'm entitled". And some people sell that concept in return for political power. It's been that way in this country for a long, long while.

No expectations of them doing anything to earn their way or work to achieve anything in life .....no, they support the Leftie leaders and they get to do just about anything they want (cradle to grave). If any of them think too much about that and have some doubts, the "leaders" are quick to remind them that they are VICTIMS and those who would require anything from them are evil and , yes, RACISTS.

Think about it. Think about every government program aimed at the "underprivileged" since FDR (and before). Can you recall any of the giveaways, any of the job or education preferences, any of the quota designations, any of the anti-discrimination laws that required one thing from this group receiving those "benefits"? Any tests for success ? Any payback on the government (societal) investment? Any accountability?

NO, virtually all these giveaways fail and the targets are basically in the same position or worse. The common denominators are that the Left throws money at the problems and makes all kinds of feelz good noises and then stand back and wait to do it all again when the latest program fails.

Abortion is a good example of this. There are plenty of things that could be done to avoid the need for abortions, but most, if not all, of them would but some burden on the woman wanting to avoid conception to take some personal responsibility for her actions. Abortions on demand don't do that. They just are supplied because ...well....the recipients are entitled to them. And, if you don't believe that, you're a big fat racist!

I at least defend the rights of women to decide what they do with their body. It's not simply defending abortion - it's allowing a person the freedom to make decisions about their own body. Why do you or others think you have the right to tell a woman what she has to do. There are freedoms and then there are dictators who love to demand someone else live according to their beleifs/religion.
No one is forcing anyone to have an abortion - simply a matter of freedom and respect

It's all about selfishness. My life is more important that anyone else's, including my unborn child's life. My freedom to do as I want trumps that child's right to live, Declaration of Independence be Damned. All "men" are NOT created equal. My desires are more important than your life. If lives must be ended so that I can have sex as often as I want without consequence, then so be it: DIE BABIES, DIE.

People like NJ think minorities are stupid.

That answers just about any questions you have for their behavior.

The fetus is not viable until about 20 weeks and therefor totally dependent on another body to exist at all. That woman has the right to either have a baby or not. No one has the right to tell her what she has to do.
How would you feel, as a male, if you were told you had to have a vasectomy at age 25?

Viability has nothing to do with it. That child is still a human being with as much a right to life as you or I.

By saying that woman has the right to have that baby or not, that no one has the right to tell her what she has to do, is no different than saying no one has the right to tell me I can't kill my next door neighbor because he is making my life inconvenient or miserable. One in the same. That child has exactly as much a right to live as my neighbor.

Telling me I have to have a vasectomy has nothing to do with killing an actual human being. And having a vasectomy after I've already impregnated a woman won't do anything to terminate that child's life. I have zero problem with birth control that stops a pregnancy from happening in the first place. But I'm sorry, I you decide to partake in a behavior that has some chance of an outcome that you are not willing to shoulder, then you shouldn't partake in that behavior. If you decide to partake, then buck up and take responsibility for the choices you've made when the outcome is something you don't like. You decided to roll the dice. The casino doesn't give out refunds because you didn't like losing.

What if you were mandated to get a vaccine?? Isn't that what Potato Head was advocating??

That's another bad analogy 2Lyin.

She is pregnant. She doesn't have to do anything.

Noone is forcing her to have an abortion just like noone is forcing a vasectomy.

Her choice to have surgery can indeed be restricted. There are many things the government prevents people from doing to their bodies.

I think it is a tribal mentality. They don't think well for themselves and since the Party has made it part of the platform, they join in to be a part of the Party.

In time they convince themselves that this is what they believed all along, having been immersed within the rhetoric of their own side for so long that it programs them.

We can see it in other idiotic areas like CRT. There is no logical reason to believe in CRT except for the fact that some elite convinced vulnerable people that it was the truth.

It's sad but this is what our education system has produced, even at the highest levels of Ivy League liberalism. In the end they all look like lunatics.

Why is it that your use of individualism only applies to abortion, every other issue you are a collectivist.

They have no problem with going to bed with someone and getting pregnant and go just get an abortion and it’s over on to the next one

Weren't you also defending the government when it wanted to.forcibly inje t things into a person's body? Women do not get special rights for being women, either we have bodily autonomy or we don't you can't pick and choose.

You poor guy. I hope you are paying child support as the court ordered, and that you regain visitation rights.

It is still Human life beyond that it is innocent human life. You exist because you weren't disregarded as a non viable thing.

Life starts at conception, viability is later . When the fetus is human as in it is feeling sensations and interacting with it’s environment isn’t determined exactly yet , but it’s prior to viability.

Why are some on the right OK with one or more exceptions, such as rape, incest, or the life of the mother, while others are not OK with any exceptions?

Answering a question with a totally different question. Typical SLUPSU.

Rape/incest is a medical emergency and a hospital visit, where the pregnancy can be easily terminated long before the baby has a heartbeat, nervous system, or really anything that would define a baby. Fast attention might even prevent conception.

Even in the case of failed contraception a period gets missed and a test can be taken. The pregnancy can be terminated before the baby has any defining features. I'm not in favor of this but it's far better than waiting 4 months, or worse, to a point when there is pain and brutality involved.

If either the mother or baby has a life-threatening issue then that's a judgment call to preserve life as best as possible.

Dem abortion advocates want the right to have late-term abortions, so they argue these extreme cases (rape/incest) as justification for abortion on demand. That is more deflection, something we get on a continuous basis from leftists as their arguments fail. Can point to nearly every thread on this board and find deflection.

You didn't really answer the question, you provided your own opinion relative to one situation, there's a good percentage of conservatives who don't accept your opinion.
