Why are there no good college games on TV at noon today?

There were two games Thursday night with compelling interconference match ups, and there are more today at 3:30 and 8:00. I'm not saying our game is compelling to anyone outside of PA. There are even games Sunday and Monday. I know that each network only cares about what games them broadcast, but I'd really like for some of the good 3:30 games (or our game) to be moved to noon.

Well, the academic studs are fighting it out in front of maybe 35k in Evanston.

It's a 9AM start for Stanford.....not sure they're awake yet.

It's 3-3 with seconds to go in the first.

Good point. NCAA probably wanted this to be the feature game at this hour..

That's what I'm watching too. Not a great matchup, but not terrible either.

It's actually turning out to be competitive, and I'd count this as a compelling match up. I'm a compulsive channel flipper, however, and like having two games that I can go back and fourth with. Of course, not when Penn State is on... I keep it on Penn State exclusively when they are on.

Good teams playing good opponents don't play at noon. I'm surprised Northwestern and Stanford are on TV now.

TV rating are always better later or for night games. Why waste a good matchup at noon? The networks are smarter than that.
