What size crowd do you expect for the opener on Labor Day weekend?

We are going. Was wondering if there will be strong attendance with the last holiday weekend of the summer. Will students hang around or be @ the shore?

Gonna be there with my son and two of my grandsons.

Seeing at the game is almost sold out and App state is going to travel well, actual attendance will be over 100k

With it being 3:30, more students should be there on time. I would say 95K to start the game, 103+K by half time and those who want to be on the road to beat traffic will leave 5 minutes in to teh 4th.

I'd expect a minimum of 95k. Although Penn State should win this game, App St. is a borderline top 25 team and should provide a decent test.
