On Monday, Accuweather's weather forecast looked great for Saturday night's game. Today it's calling for humid and an afternoon shower 40% chance of precipitation.

Any forecasts more reliable than Accuweather's?

Thank you in advance.

I've been trying to go local news. They seem to have a little bit of a better handle as it gets closer.

Still seems to be calling for showers in spots.

Here is this morning's forecast from the State College National Weather Service office:

Saturday
A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Light northwest wind. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Saturday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 60.

And the detail:

Conditions become favorable for radiational cooling and valley
fog Friday night, as surface ridge slides over central Pa. For
most of the area, Friday night looks dry. However, an
approaching shortwave and surface cold front could spread a few
showers into the northwest counties late at night.

The cold front is progged to push into central Pa Saturday,
accompanied by scattered, mainly PM showers/tstorms. Mid level
flow increases a bit, but overall thermodynamic and kinematic
profiles don`t support a significant risk of severe weather.
Progged capes from ensemble plumes are in the 500-1000 J/kg
range and 0-6km shear peaks in the 25-30kt range. Mixing to
850mb supports a slightly warmer day, with highs ranging from
75-80F over the high terrain and 80-85F elsewhere.

I sat thru a soaking rainstorm to watch PSU shellac Auburn in the Outback Bowl. A couple of afternoon showers is nothing.
