Always nice to see a Penn State basketball player in the NBA given the program's historic mediocrity. I don't follow the NBA, but I might now pay some attention to Tim's performance on the hometown team.

It's nice to have a Penn State Frazier in whom we can take pride.

General consensus is that this is a great get for the Wizards.

In the end the Pelicans traded Frazier for cash since they flipped that draft pick and sent it to the Pacers.

In a way this is a good thing for Frazier. The Pelicans are just going to play big man hero ball next year the same way they did at the end of last year after getting Cousins. Meanwhile the Wizards value having a true PG to run the offense, even as a backup to Wall.
