After the family moved to Coplay from the Bronx in the early '00s, Alibay remembers 5-year-old Saquon running into the house to get his father:
"He had a big knot on his forehead. And he said, 'Dad, a kid hit me with a rock.' He wasn't crying or anything."
He just wanted to know what to do. So, his father led him outside to find out who had thrown the rock, expecting to find a larger kid. It happened to be a bully-type child about Saquon's age. Alibay motioned to Saquon that, in that case, he could fight back. According to the father, he did just that and battered the bully with something akin to punches. He wasn't bothered by that kid anymore. (from Dec 4th in case you missed it)
this is the best line..
"He came up to my wife and said, 'Your son is gonna be a really good quarterback one day.'"
The Gilberts' son was in second grade at the time.
