Excellent take. One more really important point for future discussions is you had tremendous censorship by social media preventing any debate. Of all the things Redfield said was IF it was a lab leak of a juiced virus we would have reacted differently and likely saved lives. If true that moves tis discussion from the obvious anti Trump/ Big Pharma money grab to something approaching criminal.yeah, i don't think it was genetically engineered from scratch, i think it was just a coronavirus that they isolated from a bat (or wherever) and then gain of function on that. and then it leaked from the lab due to a mistake via poor procedures.
Lancet...i said at the time of the whole HycroC article that there was way more behind that hit job then just an editor not doing their job and getting duped. there was someone behind that article with a lot of power that pulled that string. big money and big power.
the whole lab leak being a conspiracy never made sense to me. it was pure anti-Trump by the democrats as a way to discredit him as they needed something or else they were on a pathway to lose the 2020 election. So I think a lot of how the covid-19 reaction occured was due to politics and not medical science. Now throw in the Fauci emails and some uncovering of things there. And I think you had a Penn State BOT type of situation where you had multiple powerful people and entities that had the same goal for different reasons. You had Dems wanting Trump out, you had Fauci covering up some issues with funding and NIH connection to Wuhan lab, and you had big Pharma with BILLIONS of dollars to make, and you had general politicians getting emergency powers unlike anything since WWII.
