U.S. inflation is one of the highest rates in the world. What a disaster Democrats have created.

With a 6.2% annual inflation rate in October, the U.S. is now seeing prices increase at the highest rate in more than 30 years.

According to a study by Pew Research Center, in the third quarter of 2021, the country had the eighth-highest annual inflation rate among 46 countries that were examined. The U.S. also had the third-highest increase in inflation, 3.58 percentage points, between the third quarter of 2019 and the same period this year. It trailed only Brazil and Turkey, both of which have less-developed economies that generally struggle with higher inflation rates more than the U.S.

Americans, especially the poor, have struggled with the effects of inflation as food prices have increased across the board in the run-up to Thanksgiving. Food prices globally are reaching their highest rates in decades, according to the United Nations Food and Agricultural Association. When it comes to other goods, such as semiconductor chipsand natural gas, supply chain issues have also worsened the situation, sending prices higher as supply struggles to keep up with demand.

Not that 'I told you so' but I pointed this out to NJPSU in previous discussion as he blamed Bidenflation on the supply chain bottleneck.

It is only taken Biden about 10 months to totally screw up the economy. Not surprising between his senility and the stupidity of leftist politics.

The man just does not have the capacity to have a coherent view on policy so he just follows what his advisors tell him and his advisors are all extreme leftists.

As an example, his energy policy is dictated by advisors that believe that fossil fuels are evil and climate change is an existential threat so he implements policies that reflect that belief. Then when the price of gasoline skyrockets he reverts back to what he understood about energy 20 years ago, which is the price and supply are dictated by OPEC and oil companies are price gouging. He does not understand the revolution in oil production that occurred over the last 8 years due to fracking which made North America energy independent. He does not understand it because his advisors don't understand the geopolitical importance of being energy independent and also because they hate fracking.

That was profound...actually the snowflake world's response to covid has had more to do with inflation than any other factor...

Straight from the horse's ass mouth...lulz

President Biden on Wednesday conceded that inflation is at a three-decade high because “people have more money now” as a result of his $1.9 trillion COVID-19 stimulus legislation, recognizing a central point made by people who are arguing against a nearly $2 trillion sequel.

Retiring in the year 2022 is going to be worse than retiring in 1972. Your pension or savings will be worth 50 cents on the dollar.

Probably. Savers will eventually make out OK, because they have been beaten back for 13 years. Interest rates are going to lift off shortly

People are just starting to figure out how badly the Fed screwed up, and for how long

You are right if you are talking about the trillions of dollars of Covid stimulus money distributed to American when the vast majority didn't really need it.
We may not need it, but we are spending it. Just look at the sales Christmas has created and the growth in the economy and thats NOT a bad thing,Smile, we are making up for last Christmas.
