"Months after Michigan State agreed with football coach Mel Tucker on a 10-year contract set to pay him $9.5 million annually, athletics director Alan Haller awarded Tucker the entirety of a $100,000 bonus that the contract says will be paid each year to the football program and allocated among Tucker, his assistant coaches and the program’s other staff members, a document obtained by USA TODAY Sports shows."
What a terrible way to treat your staff.

These Head Coaches often smoke their own crack...but in the end they can only be one place at one time whilst others are carrying the load. If he didn't take the tax hit and then make it rain in the club for his staff then he is toast. Wheels already falling off of his transfer portal wagon....

I haven’t seen a coach this greedy since Kirk Ferentz had his son and players living in section 8 housing with tax payer subsidized rent. His son and players got preferential treatment while the people who really needed the housing waited.
