Just watched the final drive again. Man, talk about poise under pressure. The plays he made...

1- The 4th and 2 bullet to Blacknall in tight coverage
2- Escaping pressure and running 15 yds on 1st and 10 to pick up a first down into Iowa territory
3- Escaping pressure again and making a perfect throw to JJ on the sideline right over the LB's hands
4- And of course to cap it off, the frozen rope to JJ to win it on the last play

Insane props to Barkley for carrying this team all night, but when it mattered most it was Trace who stepped up and delivered. THAT was a Championship-caliber drive!!

Also, the quick pitch to Barkley as he was getting slammed to the turf. Barkley then juked jewell and got out of bounce after a 15 yard gain. I really did not think McSorley played poorly, he never really had that much time to throw because of the right side of the line. I was disappointed and dismayed by the repeated calls on our message board to sit his ass on the bench. He is such a clutch player.

Brilliant.... but poise and focus needs to start at that first snap and end at the last meaningful snap. That is where this young man needs to concentrate his efforts.

Anyone questioning his arm strength needs to look at the last pass over and over again.

Trace appeared to throw that last pass off his back foot, too.
