The only justification for the department of education is that government thinks they know better how to educate kids than the parents.

My son is a rocket scientist now technically. He had 25 credits of math and science when he entered Lehigh .
He didn't know who Martha Washington was when he was 16,17. I was shocked and then angry when he was never taught American history.
