Super 32 preview

One of my favorite HS tournaments to follow. 126 is really stacked so curious to see how Matt Lee performs. Hope he doesn't get a killer draw. A ton of talent at this tournament and a good measuring stick.

So Busiello had a puking problem at Fargo, and now has some kind of jaw/tooth discomfort here? Still romping so far. Looks much better than Fargo.

Joe Lee destroying Bulsak.

Busiello, Joe Lee, and Teemer all into the quarters. Busiello wrecking the field, whatever ailed him at Fargo is long gone.

Manville won his first 4 matches -- including 11-9 over Luke Werner (Bethlehem LIberty, 5th at states last year) -- then lost 6-4 to Chlebove.

Matt Lee won his first match 21-4, then lost 12-2 to quarterfinalist Perez from CA, lost his first consi match and is done.

Busiello with a first-period fall in the quarters. Decked the guy who beat Patrick McKee.

On the other side of the 113 bracket, Logan Macri having one heckuva tourney, also into the semis. Yesterday he beat 3x Fargo champ Nic Aguilar (CA).

Sasso apparently looking impressive which is nice to see since we all know what Nick Lee did to him. Getting very excited about Nick even though its still a year or more away!

Sasso is performing surgery with a chainsaw this weekend.

And that says a ton about Nick Lee.

Joe Lee into the semis, is on a collision course with Verkleeren in the finals.

Battle of PA state champs at 195, Gavin Hoffman 3-2 over Jake Woodley.

Who is Brayton Lee, also from Indiana on the other side of the bracket from Joe Lee, any relation?

Defending 138-lb Indiana state champ. Undefeated last year, won state finals by TF. Definitely a D1 prospect.

Not the same family. Brayton is from suburban Indy. Nick and Joe are from Evansville.

Busiello, wearing that faded Penn State singlet, moves onto the finals, 10-2. Kid's just brutal on top. Seems every match I see him in gets stopped for because he's cranking an arm-bar too high. Won't be a problem at the next level but man it's painful to watch sometimes lol.

Brian Courtney is going to be up on 1 in a few and Sammy Sasso on 3 eventually.

He will have Zain to show him how to torque properly in a couple years.

Berge is going to come up after Courtney on 1. Omahahawk86 on the Iowa board mentioned that Berge has narrowed his choice down to PSU and Iowa, and visiting Iowa next weekend.

Joe Lee will be up on 3 after Sasso.

It seems both Nick Lee and Busielo have shown incredible improvement since committing to PSU, not that they weren't both pretty darn talented before they committed.

Great third between Mitch Moore and Brian Courtney, Moore comes out on top 4-3.

Stephan Glasgow (headed to Rutgers) put up a decent fight but Berge too much.

Joe Lee went down, was in it going into the third but couldn't get out from under, and gave up backs.

Lost 9-4, surprising result. It was close until Lee tried to turn the tables from bottom and got cradled. He was having a hard time getting an escape in the third.
