Steelers Thread

haven't watched either game but friends back home say they haven't tried to go deep at all. Claypool and Pickens should be thrown jump balls regularly with their size.

Kenny small hands time?
Listen to this stat: 5.3 yards per pass attempt. Just wow. Literally never throw the ball down the field. Patriots defense was not even ba ckpeddaling

The Steelers lost this game by making a stupid decision 5 months ago. Their weakness is the offensive line. They and everyone else knows it. Last year's draft was replete with stud offensive linemen. Instead of taking one and fixing their problem they took an over-rated QB in the first round. Said QB couldn't even beat out a career backup for the job. Clipboard Kenny spent today sitting on the bench while the Steeler's offensive line stunk out the joint. Clipboard Kenny is so mediocre that the Steelers could easily have gotten him in the second round after they took the stud O Lineman in the first. Picking Clipboard Kenny in the first round was one of the stupidest draft decisions in NFL history.

Steelers are playing ultraconservative. They're telling Mitch to check down and play ball secure football. They best drive of the game was up tempo, no-buddle, with Mitch calling the plays. Mitch isn't the problem with this offense.

LE is correct--they need to go OL early in the draft and didn't. Kenny would have been there in the second or, better yet, they could have drafted a QB in 2023 after letting Mitch play in 2022.

The crazy thing is. If I'm a Ravens or Browns team I feel worse about my team than Steelers fans should. Browns somehow gave up 2 TD to lose to the Jets and the Ravens blew a 21 point lead only to take the lead again and allow another TD. Tua had 469 and 6 TDs. The AFC North is crazy.

It's Canada. The problem is the play calling and listen to this: Charlie Batch, who watched all 20 pre season camp practices, just said there are NO AUDIBLES on this offense...pathetic. Tomlin has an o coordinator with a system that does NOT ALLOW AUDIBLES.

It’s worse than that. They signed two free agents for the o line. And a high draft pick from last year. Yet they are struggling. Either they do not evaluate o line talent very well, or they have a terrible Oline coach. Or both.

And worser still, both last year year and this they are well below their cap space meaning thye could have spent more on quality Oline. Steelers are getting more and more like the Pittsburgh Prospects.

Its not the line. It's Matt Canada. This offense is the 1 and only offense in the entire NFL that has no quarterback audible option on all plays. Pathetic.

Still trying to figure out how the Steelers can't find a better OC. Even LSU had him for a year and instantly regretted that decision

He has literally failed at every single destination, every single season except for one: Ironically the one when he had Pickett at Pitt. He needs fired, like today.
