Champions doesn't seem like a particularly useful metric if the question is which states are improving at the HS level, given how relatively few champions there are and how one successful wrestler can skew perceptions. A more useful metric would be AAs from x state over the same period because you enlarge the sample size x8.

Does Bartlett qualify as PA or AZ? 4 years at Sem could make him a PA kid but his youth was spent in Tempe

He’d probably qualify for PA since that’s where he wrestled in hs.. probably overrides where he wrestled in youth

Aaron Brooks went to North Hagerstown high school, about 5 miles from the PA line. PA should get at least a .5 for Brooks.
