Penn State has 5 in the last 9 years, not to mention 4 runner-ups in the same 9 years, including 2 years where Nittany Lion wrestlers were 1 and 2 (2018 and 2019). In 2019, PSU went 1,2 and 3 (Nickal, Nolf and co-winners Nickal and Nolf, respectively).

Ah, I did not realize it only goes back to 1995. Pretty sure Iowa would have had a few in the 80s/early 90s.

I am still trying to figure out how they gave an award before the sport was even invented, and you are surprised it doesn’t go back even farther?
