Spectacular right now: 3/13 at 10:45 PM---Northern Lights web cam from Manitoba Canada

Not the best forecast tonight. Looks like the majority of the activity will be east of this webcam. The sky is clear, so there may be some surprises, but I'm guessing that we won't get a repeat of last night.

Bump. We missed quite a show last night. It started shortly after dark. 10pm Eastern? Anyway, I thought I'd bring it up just in case tonight is good as well. We probably only have a few more weeks before late sunsets and early sunrises take over.

Cheers!

What camera/lens combo do you use for Astro photography?
I don't do a lot of Astro photography, only some pics of the Milky Way and really I'm a newbie at that.
I use my regular camera. A Nikon 750 D. I mostly use the kit lens that came with it because its very, very good. But I also use a Prime 28mm 1.8.
