20 years ago songs like “my neck, my back, my…. And my…” were big time. This is nothing new. It has a good beat. Most of the kids probably dont even know most of the lyrics but the chorus. Recruits like to see that we have street cred and run with the cool cats.
 
Sounds like Dylan probably wrote this. Lyrics no worse than for Mo Bamba, which is played at every game since at least 2015 (and in every other stadium). Love to see the oldheads bobbing to these songs without knowing the lyrics.

Not too difficult to understand why 70% of black kids have no daddy. Coach should lift them to a higher standard of what is acceptable in communication between moral adults. The students and players and all of us are in training, learning to be better and succeed. Inky Johnson is a better choice.

Complete garbage. Rap is extremely influential and unfortunately influences young people in the black community to behave in non acceptable social ways. Personally I see it everyday. In the past LA Capone, Lil Herb, Lil Derk has brought many young men to prison. Today EST Gee, NBA Young Boy are huge in keeping young people stuck and influencing criminal behavior.

I was a huge rap fan back in the day, I was listening to it before most people ever heard of it. Great songs and great lyrics. Much of the crap today (especially female rappers) is just trying to shock and show what an empowered woman they are by being as crude and offensive as possible. Again, that’s not art, that’s laziness.

this genre of rap has been around since the 90’s and huge with adolescents and young adults. This is not new and i would even say its less crude then the early 2000’s. Glad PSU is embracing what’s current in pop culture. It will only help recruiting.
