Show Trials, testifying under oath and Hearsay --- A primer for Leftists

Some Lefties here have stated that because Hutchinson testified under oath, her testimony should be believed until it is refuted under oath. This is wrong for a number of reasons. First, perjury is quite common in the legal system and rarely prosecuted. Second, to the extent that she testified under oath as to what someone else told her, her testimony under oath is close to meaningless. The people who she says informed her, Tony Ornato and Robert Engel have the most knowledge. She claims that Ornato stated that Engel told her that Trump acted violently. Engel is the best witness, Ornato, the second best and Hutchinson is least useful with respect to this scenario.

The Lefties here are totally oblivious to functional lies that tell only part of the story. Michael Brown was an unarmed black teenager who was killed by a police officer. On the surface, if that is all you are told, it is natural to believe there is a strong chance that the killing was a result of police abuse. However, if what you add is that he weighed 280 lbs, attacked the police officer and his dna was on the police officer's gun, the legitimacy of the shooting is totally turned around. What show trials partially do (in addition to plain lying) is give only part of the facts or story in order to deceive people. That is exactly what the Dem Jan. 6ers are doing here.

Additionally, of course, show trials are designed to spread lies. Here is one instance of 4 easily disproved lies that the Committee decided to tell.

So, only dishonest or stupid people take part in show trials or take them seriously.

The fact that some liberals are actually defining the kangaroo court (Jan 6th commission) as proof of Trump's involvement in the attack on the Capitol just proves that they are indeed communists. It's a one-sided tv show without rebuttal from the opposite side.
