Shout Out to Jan Johnson

I know, wrong board, but...

Johnson had an interception at a key point in the game last night. With PSU leading 35-24, the Illini really needed to score on that drive in order to keep the game from getting out of hand. Instead, Johnson made a heads up play, intercepting the ball at the Illini 21, leading to a 21 yard McSorley touchdown to KJ Hamler on the very next play.

He was the only guy consistently in position to make a play in the 1st quarter. Had a nice game. I swear he had 1 TFL though, and the stat line says 0.

With 85 per team I certainly hope so, it's always a safe assumption every starter and then some (2 deep) are on full rides.
