Rarely seen an opening Saturday this good. The marquis game is tonight but the undercard is pretty decent too:

Notre Dame at Ohio State: many think the Bucks have the best offense in the country...loaded everywhere; the Irish are ranked in the top-5, but I'm not sold yet on their new coach...though he's a dynamite recruiter. Ohio State favored by 17 1/2...awful tall number to cover, but maybe they're that good.

Georgia at Oregon: Georgia picked to make a run at another national championship; Oregon ranked #11 and a co-favorite to win the reeling Pac-12. Another surprisingly (to me) large point spread: Georgia by 17.

Utah at Florida: Utah the highest ranked team in the Pac-12 on the road against one of the SEC's glamour teams, which is supposedly looking at a down year. Line opened with the Gators a 1-point favorite but the money moved it quickly in the opposite direction and the Utes now favored by 2 1/2.

Cincinnati at Arkansas: Cincinnati coming off the playoff year but lost some of their star players and barely made the AP top-25; Arkansas coming off...well let's not talk about it...
