Sadly there is still racism everywhere.....not just at frats or in the south. Too much racism everywhere. We as a nation have come a long way but still have further to go.

Alabama has its own long standing issues with similar actions by their sororities (similar to the OU frat of no black members allowed- just google). Just the other day an Alabama sorority member was asked to leave IIRC for an inappropriate racial tweet.
while most would defend freedom of speech even if vile - these guys are total morons. not only are they hurting OU, but are hurting themselves. this could hurt their careers. amazing the lack of common sense.
imagine if this was one of your kids and he was getting ready to graduate - perhaps a good gpa - job offer or ready to accept an elite grad school type offer. this could all be going down the toilet.

True. Problem is that college students are at an age where they are not fully mature, (despite what they think), and often get into trouble on many issues (think State Patty's day type stuff). Everyone's been through this in some way and looked back on some of their behavior during those years wondering what the hell they were thinking.
2 of the students have now been expelled for "creating a hostile learning environment" from their chant on the bus. Apparently the OU Tri Delt sorority is now being looked into for being on the bus and laughing/ clapping too. The frat has been removed from OU and been evicted from their house.
