Saw a white deer yesterday.

Is there another forum on the interwebs where you can see Comcast/BTN, private schooling, chainsaws, soft core porn and deer porn all in the same day?
I think not.
Well done gang.
Don't forget boating, my friend. A crucial topic in these ever-lengthening days

This was the best of several pics we got from the car. There were several deer in the bunch; the back half of this one was almost all white. Sorry for the crappy pic.
Must have been a good weekend for phenomenon sightings......
I saw two of these thumping around the woods behind the house late Saturday night.

That's one of huntings oldest superstitions... bad luck from shooting an albino deer.

PROPHESY

Native Americans have a long history of respect for white deer which are sometimes referred to as the ‘ghost deer.’ The Lenape Indians have a white deer prophesy. Here is an oral translation of that prophesy.

“It has long been predicted that there would come a time when a white male and female deer would be seen together, and that this would be a sign to the people to come together."

Let’s hope this prophesy rings true.

Nice, I've played there a few times as my brother lives on that course and my nephew worked there for a while. @BoulderFish has some experience there as well.

Yeah, I worked there for three summers back in the early/mid 90s, and was the runner-up Jr. Club Champion in 1992 or 1993. Your brother lives on the course??

G. Gordon Liddy used to live adjacent to the course back in the day.

Haha - yeah we used to always joke about that. I think Ollie North was set to go there too until he was pardoned (or whatever stopped his path to jail).

Back in the 60's I raced at a 1/8 mile Drag Strip (called Green Pine Sportsmans) adjacent to the White Deer Golf Course in Montgomery, PA. Raced a 54' Ford sedan, won couple trophies. Did not see any white deer on the track.

There was a family of white deer (albino?) that lived on the golf course at Glen Mills. But, this was a few years ago. And they were pretty aggressive -would not back down when golfers approached.
One who lives near me by council Rock south High school
