I just wanted to pay tribute to Dancing Doris Myers of Williamsport, PA., who just passed away recently. Doris was a huge Penn State football fan, who attended Nittany Lion games for many years. Doris also was involved many years with the Williamsport Area Nittany Lion Booster Club. The main fundraising event for the club was the raffling off of several PSU Football season tickets. The tickets were sold for a dollar with each member being encouraged to sell 50. Doris herself usually sold 1500 to 2000 chances. She was unbelievable with all the people she knew and was considered the First Lady of Williamsport to all who knew her. She faithfully attended the LLWS in S. Williamsport and was a favorite of many of the ESPN baseball personalities that visited and announced the series. She will definitely be missed! I've included her obituary and a nice write up from Lou Hunsinger at the Web Weekly, that has a wonderful Facebook acknowledgement from Radio Host, Gary Chrisman.

Sounds like a great person. We could sure use a hell of a lot more like her.
