Michigan and Iowa provided two stiff tests. While from a team perspective the sledding gets half a notch easier, there are still some outstanding bouts upcoming.

125: Malik Heinselman (tOSU)
133: None of high ranking (easiest road on the team)
141: Always tough Chad Red (NEB)
149: Sammy Sasso (tOSU), and Ridge Lovett (NEB) (toughest overall on the team, imo)
157: Peyton Robb (NEB)
165: Carson Kharchla (tOSU)
174: Ethan Smith (tOSU), Mike Labriola (NEB) (tough bouts)
184: Kaleb Romero (tOSU), Taylor Venz (NEB)
197: Hoffman (tOSU), Eric Schultz (NEB) (continued tough tests in the B1G)
285: Tate Orndorff (tOSU), Lance Christian (NEB) (two solid opponents, but handily beaten in past)

Two tough matches for Beau, a split would be nice but doubtful. I just hope he brings a little more offense and let's it fly earlier rather than late

Aaron Brooks will have gone through (and likely beaten) 9 top 20 guys by the end of season: Amine, Romero, Pozanksi, Venz, Cochran, Loew, Assad, Washington, and Melczewski.

Not bad for an abbreviated campaign.

Conference seedings are going to be interesting this year. Just thinking that Caffey could get the 1 seed and Dean the 2. At 285 it will likely be Cass as the 2, Kerk the 3 and Parris the 4.

Caffey has lost to 2 conference opponents this year -- Beard and Wroblewski -- though both at Opens.

He also has Smith, Davison, and Brucki left.

Do they take those matches into account for the conference seedings?

My experience is YES. Even in the past, with 9 conference duals (meaning each team misses 4 Big Ten opponents), and kids missing duals for various reasons, reaching beyond conference duals was necessary. Now with only 8 conference duals, it's more so.
