Yeah, I know it is interleague play and the Indians haven't seen Locke much, but that has to be a confidence builder for Locke. He looked so comfortable out there toward the later innings.

Locke was unbelievable today, and that is why he is so maddening. I don't know if I have ever seen a pitcher whose command varies so much from one start to the next.When he is on he has the command of Greg Maddux and is capable of dominating any lineup because he has much better stuff than he gets credit for. He is not some soft tossing lefty. His fastball consistently sits in the low 90's and I have seen him touch 94-95 mph on occasion. I know there are people on here who have advocated dumping him, but starts like today happen too often to give up on him.

Agree Pops. He was an all star for a reason, he has the tools. If he can become semi-consistent at an ERA around 4.00 he will be a great 5th starter
