The answer is they despised Trump. This is why I say if the right puts someone like DeSantis as front runner for prez, then dems wont vote on emotions and feelings as much as they did with Trump.

As much as the right doesn't like it, the fact is Trump is a very unlikable guy who is an asshole to many people. Half the country will ALWAYS vote against Trump because of this. Put someone like DeSantis as front runner who is a better person and you get more swing votes and win.

For how smart the right acts, they just don't get it. They can mock the dems with, "Orange man Bad" and say don't vote on feelings all they want. Has the right gained more swing votes by doing that? Nope.

It's America where people can vote on feelings if they choose, which many obviously do. So why not nominate a much better human being like DeSantis as their prez candidate then Trump?

Right now because of Trump, the republicans have a divided party, instead of being one. You have Kevin Mccarthy getting booed by Trumpers in Wyoming, you want to hang Mike Pence, and you got a psychotic lying POS in MTG who backs Trump 100%. You want to beat the dems, first get your own party in order, realize you will not win again with Trump, ESPECIALLY AFTER January 6th, and rally around a better candidate.

So Repubs shouldn’t run one of the best presidents this country has ever had because he hurts libs feelings? Got it. I get what you are trying to say about Repubs not being smart about running him (as it’s likely there’s a better chance for more anti-trump votes), but it truly speaks volumes about just how dumb libs are.

You obviously didn't get it. Do you want to win the presidency, or lose again and continue to whine about libs and their feelings? You say libs are so dumb, yet they won the presidency. Even Bdgan said many times the dems are better at winning in politics.

I think trump did a good job as president. Let’s not forget the democrats foisted Russia ,Russia on him and fought him every step of the way.
Now having said that, trump is abrasive, talks too much, is rude, and, imo, should step aside in 2024
