I hear/read that it's really just PSU and ND now. UI is supposedly out, fwiw
Well if that is true our chances just improved but honestly nothing against Shrews but picking between ND and PSU is a no brainer. I hope they have another big man they are targeting.

Thank God youre not our recruiting coordinator. That's the type of thinking that led ED to primarily recruit kids with only Mid-Major offers

Psu can almost assure him a starting role. He'd be a backup at ND. They have 3 bigs returning from last year unless someone transferred out. Atkinson (6-9 230) graduated and played 27mpg few minutes available for Taylor and Zona who have 3 years of eligibility left.
Laszewsky 6-10 235lb 29 mpg
Taylor 6-8 242lb 4.3 mpg
Zona 6-9 240 lb 2.3mpg

Edit: Taylor transferred to Quinnipiac.

And which team is more likely to end up in the dance?

Idk about a starting role. I get the sense that he's more of a PF, off the bench. Starting P6 bigs in the portal is already slim, let alone in June

Exactly. He is Buttrick part 2. can step out and hit some outside shots and give some size inside.

He never had an offer from Illinois. Not sure why he listed Illinois. Illinois took three transfers: 6-7 Terrance Shannon, 6-9 Matthew Mayer, and 6-10 Dain Dainja. All highly rated transfers. No room for another.
