I'm sure he'll be forbidden to stand between number 4 and number 9 on the sidelines by the higher ups.
Will it be a game day decision earned prior to that or for the entire season?
1. Issue with the video.... When mentioning iconic numbers, no mention of "31"?!?!?!?!?! They mention 22, 26, 11, 14 and even 91 (even though as far as I know only 1 great ever wore 91). But no "31".

Was wondering same thing. But decision should be made Monday after previous game so that media can be updated as to who it is. Guessing that programs are printed well in advance and can’t be updated.
Too bad no one on the team is named Blutarsky. Cuzzz....

I like the idea though.
I doubt they will this year but I am assuming this new ‘tradition’ will be ongoing. Otherwise it wouldn’t be a tradition.
This is a really fantastic idea. Creates a new legacy and tradition without doing anything to step on the old ones. Another way to recognize guys like the walk-ons or other players who really excel on special teams.
