Philadelphia Eagles 2021 Offseason Thread

He’s on something!
I wouldn't be shocked if the Eagles went 9-8. Long term, that is likely not in their best interest unless Hurts turns out to be a viable high-end starter at QB. This year should be about taking lumps and accumulating the best draft assets possible going forward.

Eagles extend Mailata 4 yrs $64M

They had to do this once Mailata won the LT job. It would have been huge money franchising him after the season.

Now what becomes of Dillard? He ain’t getting the LT job back now.
I think they wouldn’t be in this situation had they extended Big V when they extended Ike but that’s not here or there now
Dillard needs to go to the right side now
Between BB and LJ at least one of those 2 won’t be back next year

Dillard isn’t nearly physical enough to play guard and he’s nowhere near Lane’s zip code at RT. No matter what happens at QB, protecting the bookends will be paramount next season. I don’t see them letting Lane go save for injury regression.
