Buddy of mine was starting QB at the same high school. Was recruited by Paterno as a DB/safety. Ended up going to Michigan St and played under Saban. He talked with some of the coaches that played against this kid. They all said he’s unreal. One coach referred to him as a man amongst boys when he was a sophomore. Said he was calling out blocking assignments and correcting WR routes. He has complete command and understanding of the offense schemes.
