20 out of 28 and we in Western PA call them gobs, LOL.
I think I've had a variation of the Amish friendship bread but I didn't count it.

I've had 18, but mainly because I didn't want to eat some of the others. I still have never heard of scrapple.

    Just 14.

The Teaberry ice cream actually looks good. A "Pittsburgh Salad?" What the heck is THAT?

How can someone be judged a Pennsylvanian based on eating a salad from Pittsburgh? Wouldn't that make someone a Pittsburghian?

25 of 28 and most of them before I was 21, as a kid in the 50's in our home you ate what was put before you or you didn't eat. There's a lot of things on that list that I haven't eaten in years (and I don't miss them).

Same way you're judged a Pennsylvanian based on having a Philly cheesesteak

I'm calling a touch of BS on this list. I've lived all across PA, in Scranton, Mifflin County, State College, Altoona and Pittsburgh over the course of 24 years and only hit 17, having not even heard of many of the others.

I've had it in State College (at Home D or Champs I think). It's just a toss salad with French fries, steak and ranch.

But Philly cheesesteaks are everywhere. I lived in WV and now live in KY and have had them in both states. Never saw a Pittsburgh salad anywhere including PA.

Also Ritas, I never heard of Ritas until about 10 years ago when I saw the first one in Balto

But if you order this sandwich anywhere outside of Philly, it's just called a cheesesteak, so it's kinda the same thing as what you're saying about the salad, no?

Steak and fries on the salad-Pittsburgh Salad. You have to eat a cheesesteak , in Philly or deduct 1/2 point.

I grew up on Snyder of Berlin chips, in my biased opinion they had the best BBQ chips ever.
Nothing was better than a Lebanon Bologna (not sweet) sandwich with mustard on white bread with Snyder Chips regular or BBQ.
