OT - Eagles release Evan Mathis

I'm starting to wonder whether Chip Kelly's a little too smart for his own good. It's one thing to jettison problem players, but another to do it this late and without having a proven back-up option.

The Eagles have now lost both starting guards while doing little to replace them. This makes their failure to push for the LSU OL even more mystifying.

B's aren't looking good. Cap issues. Chara and Seidenberg weren't healthy coming off knee injuries. Who knows if they can come back at their respective ages.
