It was very impressive to watch in person. His first shot of the day went dead left into the trees and he missed a 7-footer for par. He started rolling in some putts on his first 9 holes and then he went into a ball-striking exhibition on his final 9 holes -- tight at 1, 2, and 3, dunks it at 6, nearly aces 7, stuffs it at 8 but missed the putt, and then drills the fringe putt on 9. The dunk on 6 came in so fast that they had to cut a new hole about 18-20 inches away from the original one. Can't ask for a nicer guy to shoot that score either. See how he backs it up tomorrow.
